VELUX GVK  0000Z windows are designed for use in unheated uninhabited rooms where easy access to the roof and regular ventilation is needed. Side-hung, it opens to the left or right depending on your preference. The window is made from maintenance-free aluminium and polyurethane. It is not advisable to use these rooflights in habitable rooms because of their thermal performance.

The Velux skylights comes with integrated flashing for roofing material up to 6cm, so you do not need to buy a separate installation product. The flashing fits perfectly on tiles and slates too. After removing or trimming the foam gasket you can install the skylight perfectly on slates too. The construction can be fixed and mounted very easily in the roof area.



FEATURES OF SKYLIGHT:

  • Can be installed in roofs with a pitch of 20° - 65°.
  • The window comes with an insulating glass unit (double glazed).
  • Window frame and flashing come with a weather-resistant black polyurethane coating.
  • The sash is made of extruded aluminium.
  • A left-side handle comes standard, but can be moved to the right prior to installation.
  • Patented safety opening restrictor prevents the window from swinging open and hitting the roof.
  • Integrated universal flashings for both flat and profiled roofing material up to 6cm high*.
